I managed and directed a 4-person team for an $18 million dollar, 6-story 141,000 square foot dual branded hotel project.  The hotel has 250 guestrooms comprised of 100 Fairfield guestrooms and suites and 150 Courtyard guestrooms organized into an “L” shaped building.  The building is a load-bearing metal stud structure with composite metal deck floors.  The design has a contemporary southwestern character with the projecting roof eaves to provide shade and the articulation of colors and textures of the stucco wall surfaces.

 

The shared amenities between the two brands include an outdoor pool and spa, an exercise room, meeting rooms and back-of-house staff areas.  Each hotel brand has its own entrance canopy and vestibule off of a shared motor court, as well as its own lobby registration desk, dining area, social space, elevators and business center. 

 

I was responsible for all consultant coordination, design work to meet brand prototype criteria and coordination of the client design changes.
